Meet the Founder
Amee holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. She has extensive clinical experience in Case history taking, Mental Status Examination, and Psychological test administration. Along with this, she has hands-on clinical experience in the following in-patient and out-patient clinics: Clinical Psychology, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, Oncology, Cardiology, Paediatrics etc. She has also worked with children with special needs, conducted counseling sessions for diverse populations, and worked with psychiatric patients. She is a trained practitioner in Solution Focused Brief Therapy and takes individual therapy sessions with an eclectic approach.
Additionally, she has conducted workshops on Mental Health Awareness and Entrepreneurship for the young population.
She is the founder of The Fun Class where she heads a team of interns, over 20 students and teaches French, English, Psychology and provides life-skill training.
Meet the Advisor and Supervisor
Mrs. Bindu is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist based in Pondicherry, registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). With over 30 years of clinical practice, she has undergone clinical training at Mumbai University. Mrs. Bindu provides expert psychological support across all age groups, addressing a wide range of issues.
Her extensive expertise spans a broad spectrum of psychological support, catering to individuals of all ages. Mrs. Bindu is adept at addressing a variety of issues, including but not limited to intellectual impairments, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, autism, multiple disabilities, hyperactivity, and behavioral challenges in young children. Additionally, she provides expert guidance on adolescent and young adult issues, relationship and marital concerns, anxiety, self-harm, career-related challenges, domestic violence, depression, and adjustment issues.
Mrs. Bindu offers a range of therapeutic services, including individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. Additionally, she is proficient in conducting training programs for educators and parents, focusing on childhood and adolescent issues related to disabilities.
